The decision will also impact independent studios working on games for the publisher, such as OtherSide Entertainment and Hidden Path Entertainment. Despite the cancellations, Wizards of the Coast will continue to develop projects related to its successful franchises.

    Naughty Dog has revealed new concept art for the upcoming The Last of Us multiplayer game, set to release more information later this year in celebration of the series’ 10th anniversary. The game will feature rich storytelling and memorable characters, true to Naughty Dog’s style, and has sold over 37 million copies worldwide. In addition to the multiplayer game, The Last of Us is also being adapted into a TV show airing on HBO in January, with behind-the-scenes content for both the original game and the Part 1 remake on PlayStation 5 to be provided as the show progresses.

    IO Interactive is merging the Hitman trilogy into one game, “Hitman: World of Assassination”. The new game will replace Hitman 1 and 2, which will no longer be available for separate purchase. Players who already own Hitman 3 will receive an upgrade to the new game for free. The standard edition includes the Game of the Year Access Pass from Hitman 1, the Standard Access Pass from Hitman 2, and the base game of Hitman 3. A Deluxe Pack can be purchased, which includes the Hitman 3 Deluxe Pack, the Seven Deadly Sins Collection, and the Expansion Access Pass from Hitman 2. Players who already own some or all of this content can purchase the remaining pieces individually.
